Brad DeLong, BA, BSW, MSW, RSW
Counsels Couples and Adolescent Males
20 Years of Experience
Brad has a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of McGill and a Bachelor of Sociology/Psychology from the University of New Brunswick in Saint John.Brad is currently registered with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. He has over 20 years of experience working with adolescent males and couples and specializes in family therapy, anger management, and adolescence with Asperger’s Syndrome, ADD and ADHD and working with sex offenders. Earlier in his career, Brad consulted with a male adolescent strict discipline boot camp in Florida for 1 year setting up their therapeutic program as well as counselling incarcerated youth. He also piloted another project in Saint John, which provides intensive in home family therapy and parenting support, where he worked with Andrea Northrup and Robyn DeLong. Andrea Northrup, BA, MSW, RSW
Counsels Adolescent Females and Women – Parenting Issues
15 Years of Experience
Andrea has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts, major in Psychology from Carleton University. Andrea is currently registered with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. In addition to her academic experience, she has been working with adolescent females, adult women, and counselling couples and families for almost 15 years and specializes in workplace conflict, anxiety, self-esteem, women’s issues, conflict resolution, parenting issues and consults with parents of children diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome. Andrea worked with Brad DeLong and Robyn DeLong on a team of family therapists providing intensive in home family therapy and parenting support for five years prior to joining the team at Family Matters. Counsels Adolescent Females – Domestic Violence Issues
10 Years of Experience
Robyn has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Arts, major in Criminology/Sociology from the University of Ottawa. Robyn is currently registered with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. She has over 10 years of counselling experience working with families, adults and teens. Her specialities include family therapy and parenting, working with adolescent females and women around issues related to abuse in intimate relationships, building healthy relationships, self-esteem, anxiety and depression. In addition, Robyn worked with Brad DeLong and Andrea Northrup on a team of family therapists providing intensive in home family therapy and parenting support for five years prior to joining the team at Family Matters. read more...

Andrew has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Arts, major in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick, and a Bachelor of Social Work from Dalhousie University. Andrew is currently registered with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. A therapist for more than 30 years, Andrew works with children, adolescents, and adults as well as marriage therapy. His specialities include anger management, grief work, and mental health issues. In addition, Andrew served as co-ordinator and therapist with Mental Health Services in Sussex, New Brunswick for nearly 2 decades. read more...

Counsels: Trauma, Addiction and Post-Divorce Rebuilding

Sheri has Master’s Degree in Social Work from Dalhousie University, a Bachelor of Arts, major in Criminal Justice from the University of Winnipeg, and a Bachelor of Social Work from St. Thomas University. Sheri is currently registered with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. Her academic credentials are paired with over 10 years of experience as a counsellor working with adult women, couples, families, and adolescent females. Her specialities include trauma, addiction, post-divorce rebuilding, rebuilding after traumatic life events, and anxiety. In addition, Sheri implemented the first provincially funded Domestic Violence Outreach program in New Brunswick and has acted as its coordinator for the last 9 years. read more...
Jean E. Craven, B.A., Dip. C.S., M.A., Ph.D., L.Psych.
Treatment of Teens and Adults with Anxiety, Depression, and Stress
30 plus Years of Experience
Dr. Jean Craven has been a licensed Psychologist in the province of New Brunswick for more than 20 years. In the 1970’s, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Trent University and completed a Diploma in Child Study at the University of Toronto. After working in school psychology for a number of years, she returned to university to complete her Masters in Applied Psychology at the University of New Brunswick and then her Ph.D. in Clinical-Developmental Psychology at York University in Ontario. Jean then worked for 20 years in the mental health system, primarily with children and teens, while focusing on adults in her private practice. Jean also teaches both clinical and academic courses in psychology at UNB Fredericton and Saint John and currently works as the Director of the UNB Psychological Wellness Centre. Jean has a background in Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, among other approaches. read more...
Jeffery R. Collette, BA, BSW, MSW, RSW

10 Years of Experience
Jeff has a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Lakehead University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Studies from the University of Cape Breton and is a registered member of the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. Jeff has over 10 Years of experience working with families and individuals in the area of Mental Health. His focus is working with individuals of all ages who are experiencing both diagnosed and undiagnosed Mental Health conditions, including individuals in crisis. In addition to providing Mental Health counselling, Jeff has experience in both family and couples counselling. He is certified in Negotiation and Conflict Management through Dalhousie Law School and this training assists in his work with families and children experiencing divorce and separation. read more...
